About Felix Marlow
Hey, I'm Felix. I tattoo out of Marlow Ink Studio in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Traditional tattooing is what got me into this, and it's still what I love most: bold outlines, rich color, and designs you can read from across the room. Give me a rose, an eagle, a panther, or a weird little idea you've been sitting on and I'm happy. I also work in neo traditional when a piece calls for a little more detail. I like a relaxed appointment, good conversation, and taking the time to get the placement right.
Projects I’m Interested In
I'm especially keen to take on traditional sleeves, big animal pieces, and collections of smaller tattoos that feel like they belong together. Panthers, eagles, snakes, roses, and old nautical imagery are always welcome. If you've got a loose idea rather than a finished design, that's great. Send me the subject, where you want it, and a couple of references so we can make something that feels like yours.
Design Process
Start by sending me your idea, placement, and approximate size. We'll talk through what will work best, then I'll draw a custom design for your appointment. On the day, we'll look at it together, make any final adjustments, and try the stencil until the placement feels right. I won't rush you into it. Before you leave, I'll walk you through aftercare and what to expect as it heals.

Deposit policy
A deposit secures your appointment and comes off the final price. I’ll confirm the amount when we plan your piece.
Rescheduling
Please give me at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to move your appointment. Message me as soon as you can so we can work out a new date.

How do I book an appointment?
Send me your tattoo idea, approximate size, placement, reference images, and preferred dates. I'll get back to you within two business days.
How much do your tattoos cost?
Pricing depends on size, complexity, placement, and time required. Send me your idea and I'll provide an estimate.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required to secure your appointment. This amount is deducted from the final tattoo price.
Do you create custom tattoo designs?
Absolutely! Most of my work is custom-designed. I love turning your ideas into unique tattoos that suit your style.
Can I bring my own design or reference images?
Definitely. Reference images are encouraged. I may suggest adjustments to ensure the design translates well into a tattoo.
Do you do cover-ups or reworks?
I consider cover-ups on a case-by-case basis. Send me a clear photo of your existing tattoo and what you'd like to achieve.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Get plenty of sleep, eat a proper meal, stay hydrated, and wear comfortable clothing. Avoid alcohol beforehand.
Do you offer free touch-ups?
Touch-ups may be included depending on the circumstances. I'll explain my touch-up policy when we book.
